Each year PACE needs to raise £1m to ensure that they provide first class education and therapeutic services to transform the lives of children with a range of physical and sensory disabilities. Ultra Surefire were excited to sponsor and be part of the PACE Children’s Challenge which took place in November at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium, an inspiring day where pupils showcased new skills they had been practising to master. Each day the children at PACE make a herculean effort to do everyday things that able bodied people take for granted. So as proud sponsors Lorna King and Carole-Ann Toon represented Ultra Surefire and spent the day watching the children achieve their goals that they had worked so hard for.

Ultra Surefire Support PACE Children’s ChallengeLorna and Carole-Ann were also fortunate enough to meet Paralympic Gold Medalist Sophie Christiansen OBE, an English equestrian who joined the event to show her support and tell the children that they too ‘can do it’! Born with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, Sophie has won numerous World and Euoropean titles, including five-time Paralympic champion. Nominated for 2016 Sports Personality of the Year, Sophie also graduated with a First Class Masters degree in mathematics - a truly great inspiration for the children of PACE.
