Sprinkler Project, Brick Street, London

Inspired by the 1920’s, an era decadence, glamour and lavish decoration, office interior designers Peldon Rose have recently completed a refurbishment project for boutique offices in the heart of Mayfair, surrounded by art deco buildings. Through our previous work at the Playboy Club, Ultra Surefire were awarded this sprinkler project for their old offices in Brick Street, London very close to our on-going project at the Sheraton Hotel.

Exposed protection under the staircase presented a challenge, which was quickly overcome as pipework was painted black to match in with the black sprinkler heads

The existing sprinkler system was stripped out as part of the enabling works, and our project team worked closely with Peldon Rose to keep to their comprehensive programme and design concept. The new sprinkler system has been fitted throughout the ground floor, first floor including the new feature architectural stair core.

To achieve this, the existing elevator was replaced with a sweeping art deco staircase and a stunning 1920’s inspired glass atrium overhead. Exposed protection under the staircase presented a challenge, which was quickly overcome as pipework was painted black to match in with the black sprinkler heads.

Special touches throughout the office space include a Weber Grand Piano, a pamper room fit for a movie star and a rooftop terrace. The main reception area features a beautiful green marble effect wall, monochrome chevron tiling and a magnificent golden light feature.

These exclusive offices are now complete, and Ultra Surefire are pleased with that the sprinkler protection did not affect the aesthetics of the interior design.
